Living in Smithfield
Smithfield, founded in 1857 as Summit Creek, is the second-largest city in the Logan metro area and sits north of Hyde Park along US-91. Its population grew about 43% between 2010 and 2020, and it is largely a residential community for Logan and Utah State University. Landmarks include a Carnegie-era city library; the city calls itself "Utah's Health City."
