Living in Providence
Providence sits just south of Logan at the mouth of Providence Canyon, beneath 8,881-foot Big Baldy. Settled in 1859, it was historically agricultural and has been a residential suburb of Logan since its first subdivision in 1962. The city maintains 11 parks and keeps its long-running sauerkraut tradition through the annual Sauerkraut Days.
