Living in South Ogden
South Ogden is a city of about 17,500 residents on the benches south of Ogden, incorporated in 1936. A 1940s housing boom tied to Hill Air Force Base and the Ogden Arsenal earned it the nickname "City of Homes," and housing is largely established single-family neighborhoods. The city maintains nine parks, including a roughly 50-acre Nature Park with trails and an amphitheater.
